This notice explains how the StayFix pilot collects, uses and shares information from property owners, hosts, property representatives and provider applicants.
Information collected
Customer requests may include contact details, property suburb and postcode, property use and type, timing or next check-in, job description and access-related information. Provider applications may include business and contact details, ABN, service area, licence or accreditation information, and preferred plan.
How it is used
Information is used to assess requests, identify suitable providers, operate the pilot, prevent misuse, communicate about a request or application, and improve matching. It is not intended for unrelated marketing without consent.
Sharing with providers
StayFix may email a provider-safe brief, service category, general location and timing to an initial batch of up to five suitable local businesses. Invitees do not receive the customer’s name, phone, email, exact address or access details. No more than three active quotes are collected. Full request and contact details are released only to the verified provider the customer selects, after any disclosed lead fee clears. Providers are independent businesses and handle that information under their own privacy obligations. Do not include alarm codes, lockbox codes or other sensitive access credentials in the initial request.
Provider invitations and opt-out
StayFix records provider opportunity invitations, quote submissions and acceptance of provider terms. Each invitation contains a suppression link. Once an email address opts out, new invitations to that address are blocked unless the business later asks to resume them.
Storage, payments and service suppliers
Information is stored using the services that operate StayFix. Technical suppliers may process information only to provide hosting, communications, security or payment functions. Stripe processes lead-fee and membership payments under its own privacy obligations. StayFix records payment status and Stripe transaction or subscription references but does not receive or store complete card numbers.
Access, correction and deletion
A person may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. A monitored operator contact must be published here before the service opens to the public.
Keep access details private
Share tenant or guest names, smart-lock codes and precise access instructions only with the provider you ultimately select, using an agreed secure channel.
